Unknown gunmen looted a bank in Ratnipora village of Shopian district in south Kashmir.

Reports said that three masked gunmen barged into a bank branch in Ratnipora and decamped with cash.

An official said that the gunmen damaged the CCTV cameras before looting the cash.

Superintendent of Police (SP) Shopian A S Dinkar said that the gunmen looted Rs one lakh and ninety eight thousand rupees from the bank.

This is the second such incident in past two days.

Yesterday, gunmen loot over five lakh rupees from a branch of J&K Bank in Bijbehara area of Anantnag district.
