Second Day People Protest Continues  against premature transfer of DDC Poonch

MENDHAR The residents of  sub division Mendhar today held protest demonstration against premature transfer of DDC Poonch.

A large number of people were gathered  and Protest  against the premature transfer of District Development Commissioner, Mohammad Aijaz Asad.

The protesters raised slogans against the governor rule and demanded for revoking the transfer orders of Mohammad Aijaz who had been transferred and posted as Deputy Commissioner Rajouri. The agitators blocked Mendhar-Jammu road for hours.

Asad assumed office of Deputy Commissioner Poonch on April 2 this year, welcomed by the public of district Poonch at large. The protesters calling it a hindrance in the development of district Poonch, termed the transfer an injustice, questioned the order ending the three month tenure of Mohammad Aijaz Asad as Deputy Commissioner Poonch.
