You will be able to link your mobile number with Aadhaar card at home now. Aadhaar Authority UIDAI has issued a number. You have to call on this number and after providing all the information related to the Aadhaar, your mobile number will be linked to the Aadhaar. For this, the Aadhaar Authority has started sending messages to the users.
These messages are being given to the customers about the toll free number.
How to Link Mobile Number with Aadhaar at Home.
You can call on this number and link mobile number with your Aadhaar. This process is OTP-based, which has come into effect from 1st January. Now any user can dial toll free number 14546 from their mobile number and they can link mobile number with Aadhaar.
At first dialing this number you will be asked for the Aadhaar number. Here you have to enter your Aadhaar number.

After entering the Aadhaar number, ‘One Time Password’ (OTP) will be sent on your registered mobile number to registered with your Aadhaar. After you get the OTP, enter it.
OTP will be linked to your mobile number as soon as you enter. Here it is important to keep in mind that you give your details accurately.
When you enter information related to your Aadhaar, then UIDAI system verifies it. Once the information is found correct, your mobile number will link to the Aadhaar.
To avail this facility, you must register with at least one mobile number with Aadhaar. If it does not happen then you will not be able to take advantage of this facility.
Apart from this, the mobile companies will visit personally to the people who are 70 years old, NRI and physically challenged to link their mobile number to Aadhaar.
The Government has said in its order that such users should be provided mobile basis verification personally. At present, the IAVR number is working only for Airtel, Idea and Vodafone.
